Choosing a Wedding Gown

Your wedding gown should be ordered at least six months in advance.

Your wedding dress sets the style of your wedding and everyone else is coordinated accordingly. If you are a young bride getting married for the very first time, you will most likely choose a long white, or off-white bridal gown.

Choosing a gown is a unique and fun experience. However, you can become very exahausted going from shop to shop looking at the various selections. And trust me....there are a lot of selections when it comes to wedding dresses.

My suggestion would be to become familar with the different styles, lengths, and fabrics that are available. Then, begin to narrow down your preferences. Your sense of style is the most important thing to keep in mind when shopping for a wedding gown. Pick what looks good on you and what makes you feel beautiful.....regardless of what anyone tells you.

Satin is traditional and correct for all seasons, but it is very hot in the Summer. Tulle, Organdy, Chiffon, and Synthetics are most common for the summer months. Velvet, Brocade, and Lace are beautiful for the winter month.

There is no required length of sleeve for a wedding dress based on the season. Sleeve length depends on the design and style of the wedding gown.

In today's market, you should have no problem finding a look that suits your height, weight, and body type.

Become Familar with these terms.....
